Download Microsoft Office

Microsoft Office is available free to all students, staff and faculty of Milligan University.

 

How do I download Microsoft Office?

1. Once you have your Microsoft account set up, you can sign it to Office.com with your Milligan account.
2. In the left hand navigation menu, click the Apps menu, and select “More Apps”.
3. In the top right corner of the Apps page there will be a button titled “Install Office”. Click that and choose to install the software on your computer.
4. You will need to register the software with your Microsoft account (which uses your Milligan email address).

For new students, your Milligan email address is @milligan.edu (NOT @my.milligan.edu)

 

Can I keep Microsoft Office after I graduate?

You will only be able to keep using Office for free while you are a student. When you graduate you must purchase your own subscription to Office 365 at the regular price.

 

Can I install Office for free on a second machine if my first computer dies?

With Office 365, there is no fee for installing it on an additional machine. In fact, you can install it on up to five machines as long as you are the only user on each.
